The Feel-Good Factor: No.3

Our sense of confidence can often be undermined by a troublesome inner voice. Just to become aware of that voice is a good first step towards learning to control it. Where does it come from? Who does it sound like? Does it need to be taken so seriously?

Be amused by it. Give it a face if it helps, a friendly face or a ridiculous face, depending on what it's saying. If you take a closer look you may well find it already has a face, or is a voice you recognize from the past.

Maybe it’s saying things you would like to say, or actually need to hear. But maybe not. Think about it. Do you need to be hearing what it has to say? How have you let it slip under your radar until now?
